Damilola Temitope Olorunshola is a graduate of Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the Obafemi
Awolowo University. She is a development enthusiast and researcher with research interests in gender
studies, small business development, and sustainable development. She is a strong advocate for
children and the female gender. She currently works as a Programmes Associate with one of Nigeria's
foremost NGOs on rural women development where she creates and executes empowerment programmes for
the development of rural women and girls.
Ayobami OGUNTOLA is a diligent, articulate and analytical career public servant who is passionate
about promoting gender equality, social justice, human rights, sustainable development and humanitarian
interventions through sensitization, advocacy and capacity building. He is a writer, scholar and lover of
history. He became a volunteer member of ‘Conflict Free Nation’ (a registered NGO) in 2018 in his
quest to promote and advocate for peace, gender justice, security and sustainable development in Nigeria
and Africa, actively participating in successful execution of projects and empowerments in Nigeria.
Through write-ups, articles and publications that encourage ethno-religious tolerance and peaceful
coexistence, he has successfully sensitize teenagers and youth on the need to eschew violence and
embrace peace.
He is a pioneer member of African Gender Tracker and Research Center to quench his thirst as a
researcher for humanity and accomplish his humanitarian objective, in order to advocate for gender
equality and justice and reduce the widening gap between male and female and inequality that exists in
Nigeria’s patriarchal society and Africa through awareness, advocacy, data collection, survey, tracking
and research.
As a gender and human rights enthusiast and advocate for African peace and development, Ayo believes
the world can be a better place if more energy is channeled towards the realization of sustainable
development goals.
Adeola Ogundotun is a graduate student of Democratic Governance and Civil Society in the University of Osnabrueck. He has certificates in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Lagos Business School and Ford Foundation. Adeola has equally been a research intern at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies. He is an avid researcher with specialization in democratic governance, institutions and gender inclusion. He has published journal articles, blog articles and short stories on issues of democracy and gender inclusion in Africa.
Adekunle Stephen Adelowo is a Demographer, Social researcher and Data manager with over 5 years
experience in his field. He is highly skilled in the use of different data collection and analysis softwares
such as Stata, Microsoft Excel, REDCap and N-Vivo amongst others. He has worked for numerous
research consultancy organizations whilst taking up different roles such as Research Assistant,
Enumerator and Data Manager. He has also tutored over 200 researchers on the use of various data
management softwares.
Stephen Adelowo obtained a Master’s degree in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi
Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is passionate about using his skills to promote gender balance at
all hierarchy of the society.
Dorothy Bett is a probation officer by profession. She holds a Masters in Research and Public Policy from Egerton University, Kenya. She is a social scientist interested in gender studies, social protection, and child protection. As a probation officer, she currently works with female and juvenile offenders, where she rehabilitates and supervises them to become law-abiding and productive members of society.
Bernice holds LLB, BL from Osun State University and the Nigeria Law School respectively. She has experience advising companies on regulatory compliance obligations, corporate restructuring, processing of approvals and licensing, drafting and reviewing complex commercial contracts in Addutive Manufacturing, Real Estate Transaction, ICT, Intellectual property – trademarks, copy right ecommerce and fintech.
She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
Tolulope is a research consultant and project manager with years of experience handling projects in areas of Health, Youth development and Gender-based violence. She has expertise in conducting surveys and specializes in qualitative methodologies to produce data driven insights. She is passionate about reducing gender inequality, gender-based violence and improving women and children’s health and rights.
Opeoluwa J Oguntoye Is a Public Policy Analyst and communications expert With 7 years of experience working with government agencies nonprofit organizations and research institutions. Opeoluwa specializes in Project management, communications, Public Policy analysis Digitalization, and Inclusive Innovative Systems.
Opeoluwa is a Seasoned researcher with a master's degree in Public Policy from the Universität Osnabrück Germany. He is highly passionate about building an inclusive and sustainable society cutting across all gender, race, class, and beliefs
Ibrahim has over 4 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector. A trained social scientist from Obafemi Awolowo University Nigeria where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Political Science. He has certificates in Nonprofit leadership and Management at Lagos Business School and Project Monitoring and Evaluation at Philanthropy University. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Analysis and Design of Social Protection Systems at Hochschule Bonn Rhein Sieg. Germany
Ibrahim is a staunch advocate of safe and quality education, social integration, community development and women empowerment. He started his development career as a CSR Officer at Elvira Salleras & Associates and currently works as the Programme Coordinator at LIFE Foundation (an adoption agency and Lagos based NGO) where he designs literacy and other children and women focused programs
Abigail is currently a doctoral candidate at Trent University, Canada. She holds MS.c Global Health from Uppsala University, Sweden, M.A Analysis and Design of Social Protection Systems from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Germany and BS.c Physiotherapy from University of Ghana. Prior to receiving the Swedish Institute scholarship to study in Sweden, She worked as head of The Trust Hospital physiotherapy unit. From 2019-2021, Abigail worked as Research and Grants Manager for Swedish Organization for Global Health, where her work focused on improving maternal-child health in Southeastern Uganda. Outside of her profession, Abigail is passionately driven to contribute in any way to promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality in in the Global South, particularly in Africa. To this end, she has worked as a writer for FemInStyle Africa, a feminist magazine and is working on initiative to promote child-centered corporate responsibilities aimed at empowering working mothers in Ghana to combine childcare with paid work.
